| All the pieces for a new diamond are laying off to the side, waiting to be installed. It was so curious to see what appeared to be full scale insulated rail joiners painted light blue. We just had to get some shots of this. There are two tracks running north and south on the Illinois Central, and a single track crossing them that the UP and NS run on. Trains make plenty of noise pounding the diamond. |
