Friendship Falls Balloon Module

All photos by Bob Miano.

Pennsylvania RR power pulls a unit train of PRR covered hoppers.
Friendship Falls is made with silicone caulking,
between the lake built with Mod Podge gloss medium,
and the river poured with EnviroTex.

The Pennsy fast freight stops traffic as it roars past.
The road made from drywall compound, painted with Polly S,
carved with an XActo knife, and dusted with powered chalks.
Stained crossties are glued on either side of the tracks and
between the rails to make a grade crossing.
The two tracks run in opposite directions on this balloon module
and have a slight difference in elevation.

Layout builder Glenn Koproske picks nits,
as Tim O'Fallon supervises, and Dave Johnson looks on.
You can see the nylon rope handle on
the access hatch on the end of the module.
The entire structure is made from beaded foam board.

Bob Miano's brass UP three-unit turbine is outbound, crossing over the river.
The turbine was acquired from Bob's winning bid on eBay!
